Welcome to Team Layla 2014!    What a team we have - 238 runners & walkers - our biggest team ever!!!!

 

This is our 7th year as a community team and we are excited to be running/walking again with lots of friends and family, to help raise money for children in need at the Royal Children's Hospital and the Good Friday Appeal. 

 

Layla was born at 24 weeks and spent many long months in hosptial, to eventually come home on oxygen and be fed through a tube. The first 3-4 years of her life were a battle and we were fortunate to have the greatest care and medical expertise available from the Royal Children's Hospital. Layla has continued to go from strength to strength being guided by the wonderful team of medical staff and we hope that all money raised through this event will help others in need too. 

 

This year Layla is running the 5.5kms (as she did last year!) and we are all hoping to keep up with her!!!!
